✨ 1. Introduction
I found this webtoon just when I was getting really into ABO-themed stories. The title alone caught my attention, and the cover—soft, romantic, and drenched in pink, love-bubble vibes—gave me an excellent first impression.
The main couple are childhood friends. After the bottom (Lee Yoonwoo) presents as an Omega, he avoids the top (Chui Taegyeom), who dislikes Omegas, for five long years. The story kicks off with their reunion at university. The plot is pretty classic, but it’s solid and engaging. No overly dramatic misunderstandings—just a steady, mutual longing that gradually blossoms into love. The art is beautiful and delicate, making it a perfect read for fans of sweet romance.
Whispers: And yes, the steamy scenes totally live up to the ABO genre 😉

🧡 3. Why I Fell for This Webtoon
Here are a few reasons I absolutely loved this story:
- Their relationship development makes sense.
Yoonwoo had been avoiding Taegyeom for five years. When they unexpectedly reunited at a dinner gathering, Yoonwoo kept up the act of being a Beta. During the conversation, Taegyeom questioned why he’d disappeared all these years—but then casually said, “Good thing you’re not an Omega.”
That one line hit hard. Yoonwoo couldn’t bring himself to tell the truth, and honestly, I think the emotional conflict is justified. Taegyeom wasn’t just someone he secretly loved—he was someone who felt like family. That kind of bond makes the fear of rejection all the more real.
Too many K-webtoons force unnecessary drama when a simple conversation would fix everything. But here, Yoonwoo’s insecurity felt genuine—you just want to root for him.
- Even the supporting characters are likable.
The second male lead is another dominant Alpha, and while he’s kind and respectful toward Yoonwoo, he’s never pushy or pitiful. Yoonwoo never gives him false hope either, so readers won’t feel frustrated or heartbroken. Bonus: he’s incredibly good-looking and plays his role perfectly, making Taegyeom just a little jealous. A+ wingman. - Classic ABO heat scenes =/////=
Before they officially become a couple, Yoonwoo experiences heat. Not knowing Yoonwoo’s feelings, Taegyeom refuses to take advantage of him, worried Yoonwoo might regret it later. He tries to leave after taking him home. Yoonwoo, delirious and desperate, first tries seduction—then resorts to:
“If you leave, I’ll call the second lead instead.”
What a scene. - They genuinely care for each other.
Taegyeom is peak the top material. He cherishes Yoonwoo and never wants him to feel pressured or forced. Even when rejected, he doesn’t lash out—he quietly stays by Yoonwoo’s side, always showing up when it matters most. Yoonwoo used to be taller when they were kids—so even now, despite being shorter than Taegyeom, he still instinctively takes on the role of the protector. It’s adorable. - The art is gorgeous.
The art starts off clean and beautiful and only gets better. The chibi versions? Adorably next-level.
🎯 4. Ratings
• 🎨 Art ★★★★★
- Thoughtful paneling & details
There’s a great scene where a random female Omega talks to Taegyeom. Yoonwoo subtly steps between them to shield him from the scent. The artist uses six panels just to show this tiny act of care—no dialogue needed. It beautifully shows how much Yoonwoo treasures him. - Excellent anatomy & steamy scenes
ABO stories need spicy moments, and this one delivers. The poses, angles, and expressions are all spot-on, pulling readers right into the moment.
• 🎬 Plot development and pacing ★★★★★
Adapted from a novel, the main arc is a tidy 41 chapters—short to mid-length, basically the size of one season in a long-format webtoon. They confess before episode 30, and the rest is a sweet, fluff-filled campus couple arc. No dragging, no cheap drama, and every plot point wraps up nicely.
The 10-episode epilogue shows them as adults, still happily in love, with no silly misunderstandings—just more warm, satisfying closure. It leaves you with a sense of pure contentment. I truly hope they stay happy forever in their little world.
• 💬 Favorite Quote
“이윤우 페로몬에 정신 못 차릴 거면 주제 넘게 나서지마.”
Yoonwoo goes into heat in front of the second lead, who visibly struggles. Taegyeom arrives, calm and collected, and picks Yoonwoo up while dropping this cold line:
“If you can’t handle a little pheromone, don’t even think about stepping in.”
📚 5. Korean Language Tip Time: What does 주제 넘게 mean?
In the line “이윤우 페로몬에 정신 못 차릴 거면 주제 넘게 나서지마.”,
the phrase 주제 넘게 is a colloquial expression combining 주제 (one’s place or role) and 넘다 (to exceed).
It roughly translates to “overstepping bounds” or “getting above oneself.”
📖 Translated: “Don’t overstep if you can’t even handle Lee Yoonwoo’s pheromones.”
✔️ More examples:
• 주제 넘게 굴지 마. (Don’t act above your station.)
• 주제 넘게 말하지 마. (Don’t say things that are out of line.)
🎥 This line will be featured in my [Korean with BL Webtoons] shorts series, episode #5. Want to know how Chui Taegyeom delivers this intense line? Follow me and practice the pronunciation together~!
